Culture Shock

My first week in Esslingen Germany as a 21yr old American study abroad student was spent walking, eating, and discovering.

My hotel was located on the Neckar River, which provided beautiful scenery and nurtured an abundance of ducks and other birds. In Esslingen, the kids walk together to and from school, the families bond in the park during the evenings, and the streets are quite by 10pm (though that doesn't limit the night life in Esslingen).
