Nashville

I've lived in Nashville for four years now. I've spent a lot of weekends exploring the city.

Bourbon Street Blues & Boogie Bar

boogie bar nashville.webp

Located on Printers Alley, two blocks over from Broadway. This is a great spot if you love blues and jazz music.

The atmosphere is soul and lively, if that makes sense. The music is loud because it is a live band and a small space. There are two floors; the bottom has tables in the back with the bar, and standing space near the stage, the upstairs balcony has a bar and seating with an AMAZING view that looks over the stage.

Band: Bizz and Everyday People - Date: March, 16th, 2024

Audience: This boogie bar is NOT like downtown with drunk 20+ year olds dancing on each other's feet. The general audience is middle aged adults as well as people in their 20's. Whatever your age is, you will fit in!

General Vibe: I'm bias because I LOVE jazz and the instruments used in jazz. The bands play classic jazz songs as well as modern songs you'll definitely know.

Rules: Most of the time there is a $10 cover fee and a two-purchase minimum per group once you get in. The cheapest thing is their classic beers for $6. They do have a tasty fried cinnamon roll with a scoop of ice-cream for $8.

Music/bands: Check out their calendar on their website that shows what bands are playing each night.
